Pair of Rings Discovered
Stonehenge has always been that unexplainable arrangement of massive stones to researchers and tourists alike. Theories have come and gone but the discovery of a new ring of stones near Stonehenge itself lends new credit to the funeral rite theory. Dubbed Bluestonehenge for its color, researchers believe processions may have begun there and traveled to the primary site.
On a separate and unrelated discovery, astronomers have found a super-massive ring around Saturn. The ring is 3.7 million miles away from the planet and tilted off-axis from the primary rings by 27 degrees. The contents of the ring are tiny ice and dust particles spread far enough apart that its impossible to discern as a ring visibly. But it appeared to astronomers via thermal imaging where it glowed a mere 80K.
