Tardigrades on the Moon
Tardigrades may be one of the most robust lifeforms on planet Earth. Considering they can survive in the vacuum of space, they may also be the hardiest form of life on the Moon as well. Apparently, the Israeli spacecraft Beresheet crashed into the Moon carrying thousands of dehydrated Tardigrades. Why? The Arch Mission was attempting to put a "library" of Earth's history into safe storage outside of humanity's destructive control. It's not yet known if the Tardigrades survived, they were already in a dehydrated state. But the tiny creatures show an amazing tolerance to DNA damage. In that regard, Japanese scientists already found infusing human cells with these Tardigrade proteins made them resilient to X-rays. Do you want Godzilla Japan, because that's how you get Godzilla.
