The White House recently released statistics about civilian casualties as a result of drone strikes between 2009 and 2015. The magic number? Between 64 and 116 civilians are cited between Iraq and Afghanistan versus between 2372 and 2581 combatants died during the six year span. Independent groups are not happy with the figures claiming that number of innocent civilians was significantly higher. The strike on doctors without borders was one of the largest single hits of civilian casualties. The Obama administration has historically been scrutinized over its assassination guide and its policy that drone strikes are not a hostile act of war.
