Classified Documents on Wikileaks
In the not too distant past, Bradley Manning was arrested by authorities for releasing classified videos to the popular whistleblower website Wikileaks. He was ultimately turned in by the very person he confided the material to, a hacker he'd never met half a world away. There are further claims that the former intelligence analyst released up to 260,000 foreign policy documents as well - a fact that has not been confirmed though the military is seeking the Wikileaks owner's cooperation in not publishing the material if it exists. Manning's actions go against everything indoctrinated into those with access to sensitive information and could pose an enormous risk of jeopardizing the American collection ability, technique and global positioning within foreign policy. On the flip side of the coin are those who support him and view his release of the material as a heroic move against the war machine. What do you think?
